Feline Friday is on the way. I've got to edit a couple of pictures. Abby is rubbing at my ankles. I'm sure it's a gentle reminder to get moving already...
The holiday was nice, but I've had a lot of catching up to do. Yesterday I had to take a relative back to the doctor. She doesn't drive. Long story, but these visits are turning into all-day things. The relative also had a broken TV, so we ended up troubleshooting and eventually replacing it. I say "we" because Chris went along. He was a bit help, doing the TV thing while I did the doctor thing.
It's the curse of the "sandwich generation," I guess. But it could be worse. Much worse.
So would someone like to explain why Hugh Laurie didn't get a nomination for a Best Actor Emmy? Actually, I do have a theory. Actors can only submit one episode, so the nomination is based on a single performance rather than an entire season. One over the top performance can beat out an entire season of great acting. Too bad.
I'll keep this short so I can get Feline Friday going and get my work out of the way. More later, perhaps.
