Another rainy start to the week. The good news is that some of the heavy rain passed directly over the lake and its watershed area. It still isn't enough to ease the drought, but every drop in the proverbial bucket helps.
The Cowboys really flubbed it yesterday. That's all I'm going to say.
I've lost most of my progress on the NaNo work, but it's all in a good cause. I needed to pretty much tear the manuscript apart because I'd loused up the whole setup. Better to find the problem now than when I'd written myself into a corner. Yeah, I know: part of the exercise is to tell the Inner Editor to take a hike, but there's also the "moving the story forward" part. I choose to move backwards in order to move forward. It may be a mistake, but the deed is now done.
Speaking of which, I need to get busy on the story. I've got a word count to attempt to make.
Don't forget that Hugh Laurie will be on The Tonight Show tonight!
