This week's Round Robin challenge is "Past Vs. Present," and was suggested by Connie from from Windswept/Connies Country
Life.
This time I decided to dig way back into my past - long before I was born. This is my
grandmother:

This picture was taken around 1920. She was the family photographer. I have a huge cache of
pictures that she snapped over the years, most of them with this camera:

That's a Kodak Autographic Jr. Made about 1915. The interesting innovation on this particular
camera was that the photographer could actually write on the negative with a stylus. A little
door on the back of the camera exposed a small rectangle of negative. Thanks to that, we have
dates and sometimes the names of subjects of many of her photos.
This is my first 35mm camera, a Minolta SRT-201:

My dad bought it for me when I was taking photography in college. He picked it up used. Over the
years I acquired a number of second-hand lenses. This camera has been though a lot as you can
probably tell.
And now my current camera:
This is an Olympus Evolt E-300 DSLR. I use it to take most of the pictures you see on the
journal.
