Actually, this is has been on the back burner for a while, but a an exchange of Tweets with a Twitter friend got me to thinking that I really do need to drag out the old computers and start shooting. I did that once, but that was way back when I was using film. Of course, it got me to thinking about our collection of old hardware. I really need to start a list, and this is the most convenient way to get it out of my head so I can get back to writing:

Altair 8800, complete with memory expansion. Yes, we did get it to play "Daisy" over a transistor radio once.

IBM 5100

Timex 1000

Sinclair ZX-81

Sinclair QL

Timex 2068 (with Sinclair Spectrum ROM)

TRS-80 Color Computer

A "sewing machine" portable (Can't remember if it's a Compaq or another model. Not digging in the closet right now.)

An original Mac - the one with the team signatures stamped on the inside cover.

A couple of later Macs including an SE that I tried to work on for a while.

Mac IICX. Currently used as a monitor stand.

A whole raft of old laptops from Compaq, DEC, Epson, and others.

Several portables. We're handheld freaks. I don't have a Newton, but I have the Amstrad PenPal and the first Cassiopeia Windows CE device. (You don't want to see the typo I almost made on that last one).

An early tablet computer I bought at a flea market.

An old LSI terminal

DEC GiGi graphics terminal

DEC VAXstation 3200

DEC Alpha

Amiga 1000

Mac LCII

Radio Shack Model 100 (with the DVI)

How could I forget the Atari 400? I think we may have an 800 hanging around as well. Lots of calculators including a Star Trekulator!

Oh, I know there's more, but this is a start. Are we geeks, or what?
