Finally got the taxes done. Yes, I'm getting a refund, and I should have filed long ago. Chalk it up to Life. Or Death, if you will. What's that they say about death and taxes being the two constants in life? But both at the same time? Yikes!
We decided to file online, which cost $17.95. Then we were presented with the option of having the fee taken out of our refund. Cool. I don't have to give a charge card number! Never mind. They wanted $29.95 MORE for that option.
Gads, what a racket.
Oh, well. It's done and I'm off to read.
