Are there any new online toys, gadgets, widgets or gizmos that you've found particularly useful or entertaining?
Like Karen, I've tried Twitpic. Kinda cute. Possibly useful. I'm also using a new app called Twhirl, that lets me see my Twitter and FriendFeed feeds on my second display.
I've been spending so much time on other projects that I really haven't had much time to play with other web-based services. But now that I have a new plan on the phone I'd like to try some of the mobile services out there. Heck, if I'm paying for this stuff, I may as well get some use out of it. Actually, that's one reason I signed up for Twitpic, so I can post pictures from my phone, crappy as they are.
Extra credit: Are there any new online features, gadgets, etc. that you've been disappointed with?
Oh, I don't know. I hear about new stuff, hit the web site and see design that belongs on a 1990's porn site - but without the nekkid women - and move on. If you're going to do something retro (is 1990's retro? Perhaps in Internet time), why not choose the best instead of the worst design aspects? I'm just sayin.
Oh, well. I need coffee. And there's no web app to deliver that for me. It's also Fry's Day (so called because Fry's runs their big ads on Fridays). Guess I can stare at the real toys I can't afford.
