I'm taking today off, but wanted to catch up on a few things before I step away from the computer and shop until I drop. (Grocery shopping. Yep, I lead an exciting life.)

Spent the weekend at Aggiecon. It was fun, and a lot of pros showed up to support their new location. The event had been held on campus at the Memorial Student Center for the past 40 years. They've been forced out due to the rebuilding of the center. It's a big change for them. This year is a bit of a learning curve for them, but they're smart folks and they'll figure it all out.

Over the weekend Amazon quietly restored the buy buttons on Macmillan titles. I have a feeling this isn't over.

Friday I managed to wrap up the web job I've been working on. Next weekend is ConDFW, so now I'm going to take a day or two off and relax and regroup. And shop for groceries. I'm pretty much out of stuff in general, and running low on coffee. (Yikes!) The forecast calls for snow on Thursday, which means I should grab some extra food. Yes, we tend to panic around here when there's snow in the forecast. I've talked about that before. We don't deal with this kind of weather on a regular basis. Yeah, my friends up north laugh - until they visit in the summer and melt into the asphalt.

I'm off to take care of a few things and just get away from the computer in general. I need some downtime.
