Time for a long-overdue medical/life update, and it's mostly good.

Last week I had a CT scan, and it was clear! The oncologist called me after Tuesday's chemo session so I'd have the results before the holidays and wouldn't be worrying. Yay! He's also happy with my blood work so far, but said that I need to be wearing a mask when I'm around people now. I figured that time would come. After all, this is a major trashing of my immune system.

I hit the halfway point in chemo yesterday.

Life updates:

Just got my step count today, and I am unsurprised. We ran errands this afternoon, which included two trips to Office Depot. My Canon printer finally died, right while trying to print Catmas cards. We bought it in 2005, so we got a lot of use out of it.

We ended up with an Epson ET-8550. It's an Eco tank printer, and does prints up to 11x13. Office Depot had a $100 printer trade-in deal going, so we were able to get rid of the Canon. Oh, and this is about half of what the Canon cost back in the day, and that's before allowing for inflation. The discount also made the printer less than it was on Amazon, too! And we got it the same day rather than having to wait for two days. Double bonus!

Tomorrow I'll be printing Catmas cards, and plan to get the virtual version up.
