First things first: Yesterday's picture was taken atop the Nohoch Mul pyramid not far from Cancun. Nohoch Mul is said to be the highest Mayan pyramid in the Yucatan penninsula. Or, if you happen to be a Star Wars fan, the rebel base at Yavin.

Had a short IM chat with Paul this afternoon. He's now in Europe. The wireless at the hotel was flaky and the connection couldn't handle it when I tried to use the webcam. Oh, well. I'm glad to know he made it okay.

Had a decent morning bowling. Now I hope my knee holds out for tonight.

I was going to do a bit of a writing rant, but I've got to get some serious database work done in the next two hours. More later, I hope. Tags: Life
