Mmm...Fiberglas!

Ah, the staple of late 1950s and early 1960s homes: Fiberglas curtains.

We had Fiberglas drapes in the living room when I was a kid. The things were virtually indestructible. Cleaning was indeed easy: We would lay them out in the yard and rinse them with the garden hose. I kid you not.

They were ugly, as well. Monstrously ugly.
