Monday Mumblings Peers Over the Ramparts

We took time out to watch the Super Bowl last night. The game was good, but most of the ads left something to be desired. My favorites were the VW "Darth Vader" spot and the "House" promo in the 4th quarter.

Here's a message to my friends: Sorry to disappoint, but I don't play Facebook games and I most certainly hate the apps that drop a message in my inbox with the urgent message that someone I barely know wrote something on my wall!!!!11!!! Invariably, I go look at the site to see something like this:

Someone you barely know ~~wants you to give up your privacy~~ needs your help! Install this game NOW so ~~your friends will all see you're a sucker~~ they can acquire the special, sparkly blahblahblah!

Uh, no.

Looks like we have another round of winter weather poised to move through tomorrow night and Wednesday. I've already laid in some food and we'll see what happens when it gets here.

What I do know right now is that the home office is cold. I'm off to bed.
