Hamilton is manufacturing town situated on the west side of Lake Ontario. There is still a very large steel plant located there. Hamilton is used as a shooting location for many Canadian films and TV shows because there are still so many old buildings that are not surrounded by skyscrapers. The old pump station is the exterior setting for Toronto Police Station No. 2 and the adjoining morgue in early seaons of "Murdoch Mysteries."
