Word is out that Jim Baen of Baen Books is in the hospital. The best I can piece together, he's suffered a serious stroke. One report says he's been in a coma for twelve hours.

Sad news. Baen is one of the giants in the F/SF publishing field, and my thoughts and prayers are with him.
