I wouldn't characterize the photo as ugly, but I agree it doesn't show you to best advantage. Still, it's no worse than every photo taken of me in the last five years.

I've NEVER had a good picture, from a driver's license snap to a professional studio portrait and everything in between. They're all bad. I just don't photograph well.
