Wow, I can't believe the year is halfway over, nor can I believe that I've managed to keep shooting on this challenge.

Here's this week's picture:

Out of the rubble

Demolition of the old elementary school building is underway. The pile of rubble in the foreground is what's left of a wall that held a plaque commemorating the construction of the original building (left) in 1964. I hope they put the plaque somewhere in the old building. That's the new building in the background.
