Storm Update

Hey, I slept last night. For a change. The first major band from Hurricane Ike is just moving in. Last night: steaks on the grill:

The winds were almost still and a full moon was in evidence. A cicada flew around as I cooked. No cooked bugs. Just grilled food.

A few minutes ago the wind started up:

It's kind of hard to tell from these pictures, but it was blowing pretty good. I can hear the gusts here in the home office.

The worst of the storm will probably head east, but we'll still see a lot of wind. But tomorrow's forecast calls for a low in the upper 50s and a high Monday in the upper 70s. Low Monday in the mid 50s. Finally some fall-like weather!
