It's a good, soaking rain. The plants will like it.

And you know that if I hadn't picked up extra food and the like, we'd be sitting in the dark, watching the tree branches fall to the ground in the driving rain and wind.

I had the odd experience of leaving a message on my sister's number telling her that there was a hurricane traveling right up I-45 in her direction. Surreal. I'm glad I missed this storm. One thing I don't miss at all!
