Fresh when it gets here from Julie Barrett

As no one whatsoever may have noticed, I'm making some changes to the web site. The whole thing needs a refresh, and I've updated the base color schemes.

Why yes, I *was* prompted to do this by yesterday's Facebook outage. Why do you ask?

Well, that's not entirely true. I've been thinking about this for a long time, and this blog is becoming abandoned. I don't want that to happen. I could be wrong, but it seems I was writing more when I was maintaining this page on a daily basis. I'm going to try again. The "old" method was updates five days a week with a break on weekends. We'll see how that goes.

Comments are also back! I experienced a major technical issue after I moved to the new web server last year. Turns out (geek speak alert!) I was missing a SQL trigger to drop some crucial info into the comments table. I found a way around that today, which is good as my brain is starting to hurt.

It's 4:30, so I'm probably about done. I still see a formatting issue with  mobile mode, so no need to point that out to me. I'll fiddle with that a bit then go celebrate Taco Tuesday.
