Yep, it's still on the cold side here: 27F/-2C, looking for a high of 33F/1C. Looks like we're in for a bit of everything over the next few days: rain, snow, ice pellets and finally sunshine by Monday. Looks as though this will hang around for another day or two:

Icicle

I managed to get a lot accomplished yesterday, though it doesn't seem like it. Got the quarterly taxes finished as well as the first round of the annual income tax return (still have to write the tax check, though). Did some editing on the script for our community theatre production. Lots of laundry. Processed a few pictures. Cleared a small space on the desk. Did some invoicing and some work for a client. Still much to do, but I have some feeling of accomplishment. As busy as I've been lately it's been the kind of sloshing-through-mud work that really wears me down. Once I have the chance to take a virtual step back and look at it I can see what all I've accomplished.

Had a terrible time sleeping last night. It was one of those nights when my brain just wouldn't shut down. I should have taken something, but I felt on the verge of a breakthrough on a story idea. Alas, nothing came of it but a restless night. I'd take a nap if I thought I could sleep.

Still mulling over the next Round Robin Photo Challenge. I need to do it because I'm getting back into macro and close-up photography. But what do they mean by "newness?" Must give that some thought.

Still much to accomplish today. Stay warm.
