Of trains - wrecks and oncoming

Wreck the first: The dismal loss of the Cowboys. I feel better about the 'boys than I have in a long time, so I think they'll pull out of this.

Wreck the second: The plagiarism saga continues. People involved continue to wade in that river in Egypt. I still feel sorry for the author, but that sympathy is tempered by an apparent refusal to acknowledge that a problem exists. She claims that she's sent instructions to her webmistress to have the plagiarizing text removed from her site. We shall see if that happens.

That light you see at the end of the tunnel may be a train: I've spent the entire day on the edge of a cold. Pulling an all-nighter last night probably did not help. The cunning plan for tonight is to go to bed and kill the alarm.

That light in the tunnel isn't a train. Really! I just turned in the first draft of the script. There will be rewrites, but at this point I'm must glad to have a story together.

That train sound I hear......is a train! We're between waves of squalls and it is very quiet outside. I can hear the whistle of train on the tracks several miles from here. Cool.

Methinks it's time to head to bed. We shall see how long it takes for me to get to sleep. This morning I went to bed about 6:15 and it was after 7 when I finally drifted off to a fitful sleep. Got out of bed about 10:30. I'm definitely running on empty, here. First person who calls before ten (and it isn't an emergency) shall regret it.
