Back to the grind. The rest was good, but I can't afford to slack off - at leat for the time being.
Spent Saturday in meetings and at the FenCon kick-off party. A good time was had by all, as they say. And yes, the Generic Radio Workshop will be back!
Part of Sunday was taken up by relaxing, but I still had some work to do. As yesterday.
Did a lot of web work again today, but I snuck off to Target for a bit o' shopping. It was time to replace the everyday wine glasses. I buy the box of 12 for $10. Yes, I'm cheap. But even though I'm cheap, I'm practical. I am, you see, a klutz. I break things. I'd much reather break an $.85 glass than one of the expensive ones. To be fair, the dishwasher breaks its fair share of glasses. Of course, that means I should wash all stemware by hand. The expensive stuff gets washed by hand. The cheap stuff I can toss in the dishwasher.
I am, in addition to everything else on the plate, mulling over an offer. Once I make a decision I'll feel comfortable disclosing the details. It isn't a writing project, I can say that. Nor is it a photography project. Whatever I decide, I do appreciate the confidence that some people seem to have in my abilities. And that's what is making me give the propsition some serious consideration. Am I up to this task? I should reach a conclusion soon.
Watching the interest rate news today with uh, interest. I hold out little hope that it will do anything to help charge card debt. They'll just figure out a new fee. Same with the banks. I seem my bank just had a bad quarter. My business checking fees went up a buck a month last year. I fully expect fees for things that had been free, like moving money between accounts. Oh, I can be such a cynic sometimes.
Need to wrap this up. More e-mails to answer before House. Yes, I know it's a rerun, but I'll still watch it. I'm crazy that way.
