This is short. I've hardly budged from the chair all day and I'm running on just a couple of hours of sleep.

Long story short - the web app that was supposed to be ready for testing today blew up real good when I tried to add one last feature. Then the SQL Server at the host alternately bogged down and restarted all day, which meant much wailing and gnashing of teeth. Troubleshooting is slow, but I think I may have found the problem. Still, I'll spend a couple of hours tomorrow doing further troubleshooting, just to be safe.

This meant no time for writing or shooting pictures. I've barely had time for laundry. It's pushing 11 and I'm waiting on the one last load. It had better finish soon: I took a sleeping pill about ten minutes ago. I want to crash into oblivion tonight. I need to crash tonight.

I did manage one break for dinner. Paul grilled burgers and we treated ourselves to an episode of Remington Steele to go with dinner. Calorie-free! ;-)

I'm going to try to take some pictures of the Instinct this weekend - if I can pry it from Paul's hands. That is, if Chris doesn't beat me to it. They're out in the living room figuring out how to get music to stream to the phone via Orb.

Midnight is only mildly interested in the proceedings. She's starting to get a little better on her box issues. We've moved the temporary box next to the permanent box, and now she does one "bit of business" in each box - and no more on the carpet. We've taken up all of the waxed paper. Believe me, there was much rejoicing over that one.

Alrighty. I'm off to bed. I've got a new book to start and I hope I'll only get a few pages into it before I drift off to sleep.

Sorry updating has been sporadic this week, and I hope to get back on track next week. As usual, thanks for dropping by, or picking up the RSS feed, or whatever. I appreciate it.

Enjoy your weekend.
