New Dr Who Trailer and A Bit of A Rant

First, the goodness:
"The one, the only, and the best!"
And now, a rant. Because I live in the US, I can't get this directly from the BBC web site. Because I'm in the US, I can't get any BBC goodness.
Oh, yes. There is BBC America, which has become a pathetic excuse for Brit TV here in the states. I like Graham Norton, I enjoy Top Gear, I love the mysteries - when we get them. But what do I usually see when I flip over? Women complaining about the size of their boobs. Parents complaining about their unruly children. One &%#! reality show after another. Please. I can get that here.
I miss the old BBCA. We got recent, decent dramas. We got soaps. We got football. I'm talking the proper, men-in-short-trousers-kicking-soccer-ball-around football. (It shames me to say that FOX is the only broadcaster to do football right these days. Yikes!) Yes, you sent us Becks and Posh, but I want to see Man U kick seven bells out of Liverpool. The old BBCA aired programs as the Beeb intended them: without commercial interruption. I want Wild at Heart. I want Dr Who shortly after it airs, for the love of TARDIS!
Please, BBC, consider a proper premium channel. I'll pay $10 a month. Please, I'm begging you!

But, we Americans are not turned away when it is time to pony up the money to buy the DVD. I have to rely on places like Planet Gallifrey to get the goodies.
BBC America has gone downhill since they stopped showing BallyK. I stopped watching it regularly after they dropped Ballyk, and only started watching it when we moved 4 months ago and got a new cable provider. Pardon my french, but it now sucks!
