Hey, we're glad for the rain, and we know it could be a lot worse. Speaking of which, here are a couple of links for Joplin donations: Salvation Army and Red Cross. Both of those are local offices.
Here, it's just dark and rainy:
I think the worst of it has moved through. We got Chris on a plane to Knoxville, and it got away before the storms moved in. This seems to be the tail end of the system, but this is spring in Texas, so I'm not putting the umbrella away just yet.
And I'm pleased to report that my cunning plans for the weekend went off with only a slight hitch. I relaxed for a while, and got some writing done. The only hitch was a lingering bit of (TMI) from Friday.
Writing? What is it? Well, it's when I sit at the computer and type out b.s. But that's not important. ;-) I finally got the script for the SoonerCon radio show together. Now I get to work on wrapping up stuff for the art show. Bring money. Buy pictures. ;-)
Mostly, I'm staring at the computer and trying to stay awake. Had to get up at 6:00 this morning, and as usual, I slept terrible because I was afraid I'd miss the alarm.
...And one hour later... Phone calls, emails. Typical Monday. Guess I'll go grab some more caffeine and keep going...
