A Few Links, A Little Commentary

While I wait for the check to come in the mail, I'll clear out some browser tabs:

God Urges Rick Perry Not To Run For President - The Onion is good for a laugh, as is the general case.

Harry Connolly offers up Ten Things Writers Shouldn't Do. The discussion on "branding" is fascinating.

The Best Free Fonts for Designers. Free is good. Via Design Informer.

Blitz Britain: Amazing color pictures of London under siege from Nazi bombers during World War II. The Daily Mail with some truly amazing pictures, plus a link to more. The original pictures - and more - are at Life Magazine's site. (Attention airship fans: there is a barrage balloon.)

Gizmodo has a picture of the Polaroid Z340. It's a digital instant camera that  prints with Zink technology. Mmm...SX70 form factor. Gah...$375.

Panels: They Are Not About You - John Scalzi on Michelle Sagara's LJ post about panelists behaving badly. Both are worth a read, but the LJ post may not always be available as LJ is still apparently under DDOS attacks.

More later, perhaps. Along with waiting on the check I'm trying to recover from yet another tech issue. Not fun at all.
