A Bit of a Medical Update

Chemo got delayed this week. All of my blood work was great - except for those pesky platelets. Best practice is to lay off chemo for another week because this is not the time to visit the ER for a blood transfusion. That's where the sick people go!

Now I can go outside and drag the plants in without having to worry about my chem ball. So yeah, it's a good thing all around.

Because some of you will ask (I did!): What can I do to bring up my blood platelets? Nothing. There's no food or supplement. There is a med they can give me, but they'd rather wait a week for them to increase on their own.
