Retail therapy! Great term! It won't surprise you to know that I enjoy browsing antique shops, too, and only occasionally feel the need to own what I find.
I haven't bowled since college, despite that fact that I once bought a coupon book or season pass or somesuch good at one or two of the local bowling alleys. Maybe someday I'll try it again, and see whether my back can handle it!

Julie, There are least 3 people who read your web site and I am one of them. I'm getting to know niece Julie through this media. I love your photos and how hard you are working. How you can sit in front of a computer so long, I don't understand. Good luck on your endeavors and know one senior citizne is rooting for you.
Love, Aunt Charlene

@Karen: We're off to the vintage clothing store today! Will post a shot the item we're after - if we end up buying it. Had to think long and hard about that one.
@Aunt Charlene: Actually, I count you as one of the two people! ;-) Thanks for visiting!

I haven't gone bowling in a long time, but it is fun. You are right about it being easy to learn yet tough to master. I took it in gym class in high school many years ago and a lot of people couldn't even learn to keep score.

I love bowling, but they've torn down all the bowling alleys nearby and put up shopping malls. I guess retail therapy is winning out.

Bowling is pretty fun, mostly for the extracurricular activities: the beer drinking, the people watching, the relaxing. I took a bowling class back in high school (got to get those PE credits somehow) and actually learned a few tips that made me a better bowler, but I haven't gone in quite a while now. I probably bowl like Obama now.
