The Magnolia Building
Built in 1922 as the headquarters of Magnolia Petroleum, the flying red Pegasus was addedin 1934. Some may know it as the logo of Mobil, which merged with Pegasus in 1959.
The building is now a hotel.
Central Expressway
Opened in 1956 with great fanfare, Central Expressway was a clogged mess a decade later.
The road has been expanded and lengthened several times, and it's still a clogged mess.
Love Field
They were installed in 1958, making Love the first airport with these walkways.
Love Field has been undergoing extensive renovation and now hosts a spectacular art program. The pictures at the site show some new art along with many pieces from the airport that have been preserved. Check out the floor mural in the ticket area.
