The cats have discovered toy mice. Eliza, in particular, loves to play fetch. Here she is returning the toy mouse or another round.
I think I wore out my pitching arm today!
This morning I swapped out the battery in so-called smart watch. It's been losing power during the night. Maybe it's the cats! I finally found the battery diagnostic tool on my phone. It's in the last place I'd have thought to look. Shouldn't it be part of the watch app? No, it's buried under a special app the manufacturer provided for the sole apparent purpose of trying to sell me more of their products. Ugh. The diagnostic showed a bad battery, so I replaced it.
That was a bit of a challenge, but fortunately the battery came with clear instructions. It was mainly my neuropathy and broken finger getting in the way. The diagnostic still shows the battery is bad, but I'll give it a few days and see what happens. I *could* just buy a new watch, but why, if this one works?
Ah, well.
There's also a little housekeeping going on with this post. I'm hoping to automatically post alt text for the photo to Bluesky. Next, I'll figure out a way to get the alt text to show up here when it's clicked. One thing at a time. There is alt text on hover, though!
On tap for tomorrow, a CAT scan! This is a scheduled routine post-chemo scan. I won't know the results until some time next week.
