I wasn't going to participate this week because I'm snowed under. But Paul took a picture of Midnight with his cell phone, and it was perfect for the challenge:
Midnight shows her Geek Kitty status by sitting next to my new laptop. In case you can't make out the skin, it's a Torchwood logo.
The left part of the photo looks like a big blob of white, but it's a stack of papers on top of a spreadsheet that's mounted onto two pieces of posterboard. The posterboard sheets are taped together to fold in order to save space. This is where I've been working on scheduling for FenCon. The spreadsheet lists the availability times of all of our panelists. We have 80+ people to fit on panels and workshops and demos - not to mention autograph sessions and readings. It's like putting together a giant, complex jigsaw puzzle.
I'm sure Geek Kitty could do it all if I just gave her a chance, right?
I think not.

Julie said: No, it's just a sticker, really. I bought a skinning kit at OfficeMax. The kit comes with three "skins" and three test pages. Use a photo of your own, print it to the test page to make sure it'll work, then print it to the skin/sticker. Let it dry for a few minutes before you apply it to the computer. Kinda cool. I wanted to use the Doctor's diary, but I couldn't find a high-res photo and right now I don't have the time to create a graphic of my own.
