A gray day called for a gray picture.
We have a few signs of spring, but the grapevines still look quite dead. They'll perk up early next month.
I think I've avoided enough real work for one morning. No, I did get my invoicing out of the way. To be honest, I'm procrastinating over rewriting a story. It needs a complete rewrite but I hate the idea of scrapping 9K words and starting almost from scratch. The POV is all wrong, which in turn drags the story into complete boredom. The result will probably be considerably fewer than 9K words, but then I still need an ending. That was another problem with the POV: I just couldn't write the ending credibly.
