The idea is to take a picture of your hand and show it unretouched. You asked for it. Get the nausea meds ready!:

Fortunately, the second part asks what you might do to touch it up. Fix the color balance, add a little fill flash, and apply a bit of an unsharp mask. Like this:

I'm not sure it's THAT much better, but it's at least more true to life, color-wise.
