It's cloudy, but we got the first buds on the Smoke Tree:
The Smoke Tree is native to Texas and gets its name from the dark purple-gray flowers. From a distance it does look like smoke. You'll see some pictures in a couple of weeks.
I'll be posting on Flickr for the next couple of days as Zooomr migrates to Mark III.
