The challenge: Weeds Can Be Beautiful Too! It was suggested by Kim from Nekkid Lizard Adventures (love that blog title!).

My yard is nothing but weeds. I lie. There is some St. Augustine in the front yard that hasn't been taken over by the dandelions. So, for part of my laser photography series, I pointed the camera and an ultraviolet laser at a dandelion gone to seed:

Here's some wild garlic from this past spring:

Wild Garlic

Down in these parts, primroses are considered wildflowers if they're growing at the side of the road, but weeds if they're growing in your yard. Go figure.

Your close-up pictures are gorgeous. The UV picture does show the dandelion in a different light.

That is the prettiest dandelion I've ever seen. And I learned something, I didn't know wild garlic had such pretty flowers.

"Wishing Flowers" are my sons favorite. I just showed your dandelion to my oldest and it got a lot of "oohs" and "aahs". Nice showing. :-)

The laser photo is really interesting in a cool way. I like the primrose is beautiful and I find it hard to call it a weed, even if it was in my yard. :-) Monica
