Round Robin Photo Challenge

This challenge is "It's Not Easy Being Green," and this was one of my suggestions.

It's not easy being green in the Texas summer. Take a look at this poor habanero plant:

The weather is starting to cool off just a bit, and some of the plants are starting to come back, such as this grapevine we planted in the spring:

Here is some basil:

I planted this catnip just about a month ago, and it's already growing like mad. The cats are very happy!

And we come back to one last pepper, the jalepeno plant. It's been fairly barren for most of the summer, but in the last couple of weeks it's sprouted several peppers, including this one:

So there you are. Plenty of green! Be sure to check out the other Robins:

They're all beautiful, luciously green photos, but it's the first one that really tells the story for me. Thanks for a great topic!

Thanks for a fun topic. I love your leaves, but I think my favorite is the sweet basil.

Amazing how fast I forget about the leaf wilt under the Texas sun! Nice greens! Peppers look great. Bunny ate mine before I moved (again).
